O produto importado é taxado sobre o preço CIF (Cost, insurance freight - custo seguro e frete). E toda a cadeia de impostos incide sobre este ponto de partida. Donde, um produto de US$100,00, se pagar US$20 de frete vai pagar imposto de importação sobre US$120.00. Em seguida acrescenta-se Imposto sobre produtos Industrializados, IPI, sobre a soma do preço CIF + Imposto de importação e a coisa continua assim com ICMS, etc. Paga-se taxas aeroportuárias e armazenagem enquanto se tenta liberar um produto (eu já fiz isso, não me contaram), e a burocracia brasileira impede. Além disso a Apple paga despachante e, o pessoal esquece, dinheiro no tempo custa dinheiro. Comprar um Mac hoje e só poder vende-lo em 30 dias é diferente de compra-lo hoje e vende-lo amanhã. E, claro, tem que ter lucro. E lucro, no hemisfério norte se obtém em escala — vender muito com pouca margem. No Brasil é vender pouco com muita margem.</div><div><br></div><div>O Mac comprado nos Estados Unidos é despachado da China e entregue na sua casa por uma transportadora em poucos dias, liberado sem que você precise levantar da cadeira.</div><div><br></div><div>Donde, a Apple Brasil não é uma vergonha.
